Just 50 km from Bordeaux, you will discover a plethora of old historic wine gears, used since 1870 by the Milhard-Bessard family to produce organic white and red wines from Sémillon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
I was at the beginning of June at Château Vieux Mougnac for a gourmet lunch between Stockhölm and Bordeaux, I brought back some beautiful images (…) We started with a dry, lively and fresh Château Mougnac 2016, 2016. We continued with two old vintages in red, a 1995 and a 1998 with great maturity, with melted tannins, a happy pairing on this summer day.
